Tom Kha Gai
Tom Kha Gai is a traditional Thai dish that has a rich history, believed to have originated in Central Thailand. This region is known for its abundant agriculture, producing key ingredients like galangal (Kha), lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, and coconut, which are essential in Tom Kha Gai.

Ingredients:
- Tom Kha Gai paste 100 gram
- 300 grams chicken (cut into pieces)
- 3-4 slices of galangal
- 2 stalks lemongrass (cut into pieces)
- 3 kaffir lime leaves (torn into pieces)
- 100 grams of straw mushrooms
- 5-7 bird's eye chilies (lightly pounded)
- 2 cups coconut milk
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 3 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce
- Fresh coriander for garnish
Instructions:
- In a pot, heat the chicken broth and coconut milk over medium heat. Add galangal, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, and tom kha gai paste,simmer until fragrant.
- Add the chicken and cook until it's fully cooked.
- Add the mushrooms and chilies, stirring well.
- Season with fish sauce and lime juice, adjusting the taste to your preference.
- Serve in bowls, garnished with fresh coriander, and enjoy with steamed rice.
